La Joya ISD recently welcomed the Systems of Great Schools (SGS) team for an insightful walkthrough of our campuses. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for district leaders and SGS members to collaborate, observe, and discuss ways to further enhance the quality of education across our schools.
During the walkthrough, La Joya ISD Superintendent, Dr. Marcey Sorensen, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “We’re committed to ensuring that every student has access to top-tier educational opportunities, and working with Systems of Great Schools will help us continue on that path of success.”
SGS representative, Dr. Margaret Crespo, also highlighted the importance of these collaborations: “We’re here to support districts like La Joya ISD in developing systems that drive student achievement. Seeing the dedication from the team here has been inspiring.”
The walkthroughs focused on strategies to ensure that all students have access to excellent learning environments and the support they need to thrive.
